The Power of Self-Craftsmanship: How Personal Growth Leads to a Better You-Focus On What's Unseen As Much As What Is Seen

Published on: 5th May, 2023

Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple, learned about craftsmanship from his father, Paul Jobs. Paul was a skilled mechanic and carpenter who taught his son the importance of taking pride in one’s work and striving for excellence. Growing up, Steve spent time working alongside his father on projects around the house, developing a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and attention to detail. This early exposure to the value of craft and the importance of quality work influenced Steve’s approach to design and his emphasis on excellence throughout his career. It was the legacy of his father’s teachings that helped shape Steve’s approach to creative problem solving and helped him become one of the most successful and innovative leaders of our time.
